I've got to agree on Jack"Count Dracula"Lambert #58,not taking anything away from all of the great players that have worn black and gold in the past present and future, but what an impact player he was.
Saw an interview with him in the late 1990's and he was talking about hs day to day ventures and what not and it was so interesting, also mentioned some things about his playing days.
Recall that Lambert was the one that said "QB's should wear skirts" LOL!Could you imagine his thoughts on QB's today with all of the officiating rules put in place to protect them now?

ROD WOODSON!!!! I was at training camp and after practice he was willing to sign 3 different pieces of memorabilia.

He was awesome and he did it without attitude - just signed, smiled, and went on his way!!

As I shared in my first post on this board it was 1992 and the steelers were playing the chiefs at arrowhead

No. 26 flashed down the sideline. N0. 29 ran over the top of people.

Rod Woodson and Barry Foster are definitely the first two that I can remember.

Others that stand out from that season were Dermonti Dawson, Joel Steed, Levon Kirkland and our course Greg Lloyd.

I was very lucky to be drawn in by Woodson and Foster that night and I have been a fan ever since.

It hurt like hell to see Rod in a Ravens uniform.

It will be all well and good when he enters the Hall of Fame as a Steeler.

Mean Joe Greene. He got it all started in the 1970s and in many ways is the one player the defense will always be measured against. He played a dominating, aggressive style of football, and his attitude carried over to the rest of the team.
