The Steelers parted ways with safety Lee Flowers in 2002. I believe he's with the Denver Broncos but hasn't played a game this year. When the Steelers cut him he was already 29/30 years of age and over weight.

It's actually a very good question because the one story tied into Flowers was the drafting of Polamalu in 2003. Not bad eh?

He played 1 or 2 seasons with the Broncos, and was out of football after that. I believe an injury hurt him also while he was there.

I thought he signed with the Jags for a season after leaving the Steelers.
