A couple of mine have already been mentioned...the "you play physical" speech and the "S*** happens" quote after Harrison's penalty. But I also have to mention one where a very cautious and subdued Cowher told the media "All I can say is we lived to fight another day" after the Bears game during the '05 season-the start of our magical run to the SB. To me, that is the sign of a great coach. While he was pleased with the win, he knew the team still had a long road ahead.

how about when he was practically livid because butch davis called him "cowher"?

he said it was a respect for your peers thing. you either call him "coach" or you call him "bill". lol, he seemed trully offended.

one of my favorite bill cowher moments while not a quote from cowher was before the super bowl last year when espn had joey porter specifically and maybe others doing ther cowher impressions
