Default 2005 Season Opponents

This is ridiculous. ?What a tough schedule.

HOME GAMES:
Baltimore
Cincinnati
Cleveland
Jacksonville
Tennessee
New England
Chicago
Detroit

ROAD GAMES:
Baltimore
Cincinnati
Cleveland
Houston
Indianapolis
San Diego
Green Bay
Minnesota

5 really tough opponents on the road and don't discount what Houston might do next year. ?Baltimore probably shouldn't count 'cause we have to see them twice a year regardless. Tennessee might bounce back from a sub par year and make a better showing. ?

Post some educated predictions for a final record.
Do the Steelers get revenge on the Patriots? ?
Do the Steelers get back at Houston for giving them their first win in franchise history?

My prediction 10-6

The Ravens wouldn't scare me next year unless they really improve their offense (will they get Plaxico). I realize they gave the Steelers their only loss last year, but a team like the Steelers or Patriots should be able to handle the Ravens. They can beat up on weaker teams or finesse teams, but a team like Pittsburgh or New England is tough enough to push right back.

Houston and Cincinatti are two teams I am curious about.

Not so worried about the home games. Bring back the Pats. I can see the NFL using that opening weekend. As for the road games, man oh man. Hope they can spread those out, maybe after a bye week, etc. would hate to finish out the season with three out of four on the road.

seems pretty much par for the course for a team that made it to the AFC Champ game.

Our schedule this season was no cake walk by any means..sure our divisional games we mastered, except for the ratbird loss in week 2..but even the teams that we played overall..didnt just roll over and die on us..we had to fight for everything we got this year.
none of the home games scare me at this point, except the pats,..and we'll be ready for them no doubt !!

road games..
Indianapolis
San Diego
Green Bay
Minnesota

minnesota shouldnt be too bad, neither will green bay..but the colts and chargers should be tuff.

we'll see..

New England and Indy, I see Monday nights in the future. Beat Indy indoors, the Superbowls indoors this year we could use the practice

Not only Monday nights, but the NFL can now adjust schedule to move marquee matchups. So lets get ready for primetime!!!
