Default What do the Steelers have to do next year?

We are all Steelers fans pretty much here aint we? Well just what do you think that our new coach must do to get this very talented team back to the Super Bowl next year?
We have alot of talent here in my opinion and there is Not got to be Alot of turnover here in Steeletown. I'm still not sure what is going on with our coaching situation but I hope that whoever it is there is not alot of personel changes myself. I think that our secondary needs major help at DB and depth at DL and LB's. On offense, Our O Line needs added depth as well as WR's and a big blocking TE would be nice. These are just my opinions so everyone feel welcome to come on in and give me yours.

Simple - HANG ON TO THE DAMN BALL. We gave away at least 4 games this year (Cincy, Atlanta, Oakland, Denver) with turnovers.

We need Ben to comeback, we need to strengthen the OL some. We need some help at LBer, and cut down on the turn overs.

No more turnovers, young players need to make some plays, Oline needs to give ben some time to pass, running backs didnt pick up the blitz well, and we need some youth in the draft on defense. thats what i think we need to do pretty similar to everybody else. just some minor adjustments on both sides of the ball.

Offensively, we need a competent LT and RG. Defensively, I'd draft linebackers and DL four rounds straight. Then, as the above folks said, once Ben isn't ailing and Willie holds on to the rock, it's back to good old domination!

First, win the division.

Second, win all their playoff games.

Third, smack down the NFC fodder.

All good suggestions. I think Ben needs the off-season to just relax. We definately need to work on pretty much all areas, there is always room for improvement, and in our case alot of it. Of course, there was obviously some big distraction last season that caused us to play poorly, so let's hope that distraction is gone for good, or at least untill we win another superbowl and beat the Ratbirds about five times(or more, more is good).

Reduce our turnovers and force more from the other team!!!!

1) Impact play and better coverage in the secondary.

2) Avoid the mental lapses (ie turnovers)

3) More consistency from the O-line

4) More strength and upfield push from Keisel's End on the line

5) A 'Power Back' to compliment Willie's considerable talent.

6) Ben to evolve as a QB

7) Draft well

Many are down on the 'backers',.....but i still think our starters can aquit themselves well against the best offenses of the league.
