Meeting Dwight White

I've had the privilege of meeting two 70's Steelers. Rocky Blier as a Boy Scout when he spoke at a council event in the early-mid 90s.

The second is a more recent one. I work for an organization that represents State Boards of Education. Dwight White's wife happens to be a PA State Board of Education member. So I've actually been lucky enough to dine twice twice with him. Really nice, classy, well-spoken guy. Sadly, have not worked up the courage to ask him for an autograph. Maybe next time...

Dwight is a real cool cat....I've met him several times and he's always been more than nice to me. Treated more than the fan I am.

Dwight is a great example of a NFL player leveraging his on the field success to post-NFL achievements.

He was one of my favorite 70s Steelers and was a star on the America's Game program on the '75 Steelers.
