Default Whats worse: Belichick or Cowher

Belichick, the coach and de facto GM who has led the Patriots to 5 division titles, 3 Conference Championships, 3 Super Bowl Championships and a 87-39 record in 7 seasons with the Patriots is a terrible guy because he gives lousy interviews.

Bill Cowher, taking a page from Bill Parcells, having won his Super Bowl, knows he's going to be leaving after one more season, so with one eye towards a year off with his family in North Carolina, guides the team he knows he's leaving to an 8-8 record, leaving it all behind to be a familiy man, while everyone knows he'll be back as soon as the right situation and the right money opens up in Carolina or Washington, maybe even Dallas.
What a guy!!!!!!!!!!
of course, Parcells did that to the Patriots, half assing it in SB 31 because his mind was in New York, and he was hated for it.

Fine, Belichick is evil and horrible. Cowher is a prince.

How did you like your 8-8 season? And how will you enjoy seeing his press conference when he tells the Panther fans "I feel like Im finally home"

Cant wait.

'chick sunk the browns and quit on the jets. his lousy interviews is one of his better qualities. pioli is the defacto gm.

'chick is worse.

but i will give you this. brady is a notch above kordell, odonnell, tomzac, graham, miller, and maddox!

c'mon Tony, there is playing devils advocate and there is just being off the wall.

MODELL sunk the Browns. Belichick was never the coach of the Jets. And he sure hasnt "quit" on the Patriots like Cowher coasted through 2006.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...lls_belichick/

he quit after 1 whole day on the job. what a guy! (nothing off the wall about that) hes a quitter just like his mentor. the pats day will come to find that out.

Philcox over kosar? lol.

im curious how ol 'chick would handle a qb in a near death motorcycle accident. would his losses be considered "coasting" like they were in 2002?

you mean the 9-7 team that wasnt nearly as talented as the 2006 Steelers? He changed his mind about the Jets job because he didnt want to be a stand-in for Parcells anymore.

so what? hes been with New England for 7 years. He hasnt quit on them. Cowher quit on the Steelers to set himself up close to home. Why didnt Cowher just retire on top after the SB win and let the team move on instead of doing this the whole year?

why didnt belichick just decline the job if he was gonna quit in 24 hours?

7 years huh? looks like hes almost half way there. it looks like its heart attack or bust for him to make it through 8 more seasons to match the great bill cowher. how old is 'chick? it looks like his career is winding down right when cowher is hitting his prime. seems like cowher still has a few more superbowls in him, tons of money and commercials to be made, and a lucrative career in telivision when he finally decides to call it quits. all that AND a happy family life? boy, it sucks to be him. im almost ashamed to say i rooted for him.

anyways, didnt that 9-7 team led by belichick and pioli, have brady, vinatieri, bruschi, law, seymour, milloy, and mcginnest as the sub standard talent you speak of? a team that won 3 sb's? your right. no talent. which proves what the nfl fans of 31 other teams think. it was all conspiracy, luck, and the refs that pulled the pats out of that massive letdown of a season their coach turned in in 2002.

I dont know.....Belichicks eyebrows were awfully knotted in that interview, and Cowher did have the good grace to interview well after he got short changed by Rooney..

Tough choice to be honest.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

lol. well rooney did offer 6.5 mil/year (i think cowher was worth more, personally) . cowher obviously was in good enough position to walk away from that since he actually has a familly to walk away to.

how much does 'chick make?

Belichick, 7 years with the Pats, 3 SB victories.

Cowher, more then twice as many years with the Steelers, one third the SB victories.

Clearly Belichick is the bigger a**hole from a liberal, communist, steelers fever, socialist, workers of the world unite, steel union, perspective. However, we live in a Republic.
