Default Darren Perry Resigns

Dulac also reports Anderson will be the QB coach.

Thought Perry was a rising star - guess it will be somewhere else

dallas needs someone to be their DC. someone who knows the 3-4. sucks, cause i think he can show alot of potential in the next few years, just based on his extensive knowledge and tutoring under lebeau.

Yeah, however, haven't we seen a steady decline in the DB's ever since he has coached?

Yeah Preach, but to be completely fair, CB has been a weak spot for the team since Woodson and Lake left.

actually even this past year was better than 2003. lebeau and perry were significant upgrades over t. lewis and whoever the secondary coach was back then.

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself and while this is my first post I have followed the threads for sometime and it will be nice to post with some really great Steelers fans.

I like Perry as well but I don't think he made the greatest coach but he still had an impact. We have seen a decline in the progress of Ike Taylor but I also think he played a big part in the development of Anthony Smith.

As far as the Anderson signing thats the first thing I'm not too crazy about. I like Whip and I think he is a good coach. I think we helped out Ben more than we know. I guess time will tell on these moves

First off, welcome to the board!

I agree, I'm not exactly overjoyed at the signing of Ken Anderson either, but like Tomlin, I will give him a chance. And I also agree that Perry's coaching record as far as the secondary has been spotty, however, outside of Taz, he hasn't exactly had a bunch of stud DBs, either.
