Red face SUPERBOWL....BREW AND GRUB

OK.....I AM CURIOUS AS TO WHAT EVERYONE'S FAVORITE SUPERBOWL SNACKS ARE...YOU CAN POST A RECIPE OR NOT(CAUSE I KNOW WE ARE NOT UNDER THE RECIPES POST) IF YOU HAVE SOME GREAT IDEAS...

HOWEVER, I AM ALSO INTERESTED IN YOUR FAVORITE BREWS.....I LOVE LOCAL BEER...I LIKE THIS IDEA BECAUSE IF I AM EVERY VISITING A TOWN OR COULD ORDER BEER IT LETS ME KNOW WHAT I SHOULD TRY...

SO, MY FAVORITE LOCAL BEER IN LOUISIANA IS ABITA PURPLE HAZE..IT IS MADE IN ABITA SPRINGS LOUISIANA. IT IS A RASPBERRY WHEAT BEER...BEATS A SAM ADAMS HANDS DOWN IF YOU LIKE SAM ADAMS...I DON'T.....I HAVE SEEN PURPLE HAZE IN OTHER STATES LIKE GEORGIA...IT IS WORTH TRYING, I THINK...
SPEAKING OF GEORGIA...I ALSO LOVE ATLANTA'S, SWEETWATER BREW COMPANY'S BLUE(YES, BLUE IS THE NAME OF THE BEER. IT HAS THE ESSENCE OF BLUEBERRIES IN IT)...AND THAT ONE IS REALLY GOOD TOO.. BY THE WAY, THESE AREN'T GIRLIE BEERS THOUGH......

SO, NOW IT IS YOUR TURN.......ANY FOOD FAVORITES(INCLUDE RECIPES IF YOU WISH) YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE OR BEER RECOMENDATIONS......

"black dog" makes a rasberry honey whaet that is excellent. i think its a bit more national and can be found in most areas. as for popular louisianna beer ive tried i believe "blackenned voodoo ale" is brewed there. i like that alot too.

as for some great wings, i always cook mine on the grill. marinate them in paul newmans own, oil and vinager. before putting them on the grill, dip them in franks red sauce mixed with butter. keep basting it on as they cook. leave some of the mixture left over for dipping. = excellent!

Thanks for the info, I will look for the beer...I think you really got what my forum was suppose to be about. Also, great idea for the wings. I love newmans oil and vinegar. Never would have thought of it.
