Default Who is hurting more??

Philadelphia without T.O. or us without Hines Ward? What worse?

As Steelers fans I know we could careless about what happens to the Eagles, But. I beleive we are hurting more than the Eagles. Because Hines is so much more than a wide receiver. He is probably, and arguably our MVP. Also this is a pivotal year for Ben. Being so young, now missing both his main targets from last year, has to suck.
On the other hand you have T.O. Mr.Selfish. I,I,I,I,Me,Me,Me,Me, This guy already has a huge contract. And he always has to be the center of attention. He is a cancer for his team. He is great, I will say that. But he is out of control.

Now with that said. In the great battle of Pennsylvania. I beleive without the two star wr`s. we still have the better team, by far. But we would still miss Hines more. Maybe more than any receiver on any team.

Sign Hines.

You guys are hurting more in the sense of having a wr that has been about the team insted of himself for a long time, He is a major team player and is needed. If you don't sign him he will be hard to replace........The eagles are hurting more bc they have not been able to get to the super bowl with out him, now if they trade him or whatever they don't have freedy mitchel either, they will have a hard time getting there again with out TO.

They are both HUGE losses but I think in the end it will be the Eagles because I don't think that there is any doubt that Hines will be in camp soon (or at least before the season starts). The Eagles on the other hand after this most recent episode I don't think have much of a choice but to try and trade him and hopefully get something in return.
IMO they can't keep T.O. on the team if he is going to continue to distrupt team morale (which he will) and he is going to continue to be a distraction to the rest of the team.
I have no doubt that this is how Drew Rosenhaus has told T.O. to play his hand, and it probally going to work to get him out of there with a bigger contract.

The Eagles made it to the superbowl WITHOUT TO last season. The Eagles need another receiver or two, but not as badly as the Steelers need Hines Ward.

Yeah I think that we are hurting more. Hines is that Heart of this team. However he has been the Team 1st player for the longest time, and it's about time that he gets compensated for it.

The beagles are sunk right now..they have NOBODY at WR, I mean NOBODY... that being said, I couldnt care less, we have decent WR's, we just need Hines to complete the package.

too easy. We are. Phily went to Championship games before TO and didn't win the big one with him and since he was pissed anyways, they are better not having him around and setting the example to their players that the Eagles are more important than one person. With us, we lose a veteran pressence, visibly show that we still view the cap as us vs. the NFL by paying what our system values not what the NFL values, and have a distraction by him being the biggest holdout left on the board. But this too must pass...

Would you miss a screaming cryin whining baby that never shut up or a team playing, considerate, fun loving guy that always has a smile on his face......Now though you can look at "hurt" in 2 seperate ways. Yes.. Steelers are hurting way more without Ward than the Eagles ever would without T.O.. But.. the eagles are hurting WAY more than the Steelers are for having T.O. than the Steelers would with having Ward....
