WR New Hampshire- David Ball
In my mind he is the sleeper of the entire draft.

Ball could be a steal no doubt. My Steal of the draft
has to go to a Pittsburgh guy out of Pittsburgh St.
RB Germaine Race he is about 5'10"and 240 lbs. and he was a TD
Monster in College. I hope to see him in a Steelers
uniform this upcoming season's to come..

for what it's worth here is my sleeper for the 2nd day...

Thaddaeus Washington, Colorado ILB, 5' 11", 245 lbs.

Washington is one best tackling inside linebackers in the country. He has a compact, muscular body, with strong legs and great explosion. Washington plays only one way - that's full bore. He appears to be all over the field at once, finding a way to be around every play. With great tackling technique, he's always making sure to make the stop, as opposed to looking for the highlight reel shot. He really started to develop last year as a blitzer, getting 5 sacks and 8 tackles in the backfield, despite being used as a blitzer in a limited role. He's very much a sideline to sideline sort of inside linebacker.

I've got an Akron sleeper again this year:

OG Andy Alleman
6'4" 305 lbs

Lindy's Pro Football Draft magazine lists Alleman as the prototypical guard in the category of initial quickness, saying he ``explodes off the ball and his raw athleticism is often enough to win his battle.'' Lindy's rates him as the sixth-best guard.

Saturday, Alleman ran the 40-yard dash in 5.07 seconds, second-fastest in his group behind Allen Barbre of Missouri Southern University (4.84). Former Dallas Cowboys personnel guru Gil Brandt of NFL.com clocked Alleman in 5.04. Alleman bench-pressed 225 pounds 27 times.

Alleman is a converted DL (only 2 years at OL), so he is a bit raw, but he's VERY aggressive and could be a real steal

I was wondering about that too - I checked into it and found he's no relation to Christian Okoye, though.

Thumbs up Re: Sleepers

this was a big sleeper until his pro day on friday!
houston rb/jackie battle
6-2 /235lbs
just ran 4.42/4.43-40
a 41"vert.
10'-11"broad jump
a blazing 4.41 short shuttle
a cb-like 6.51 cone drill
this guy just put himself into the first day of the draft
how would anybody out there feel about steelers drafting this guy?
15 rushing touchdowns senior year

Supposedly there is a Corner out of Cal-Poly who's made quite a bit of noise after their Pro Day. (Courtney Brown)
He's 6'1 200lbs and reportedly ran a 4.32 in the 40. (With his high being a 4.47) Along with a vertical jump of 41 and a half, and a shuttle time of 4.07.
But then again he could just be a 'workout warrior' like Ike. But who knows,.....perhaps his performance warrants us bringing him in for a visit at least.
