Default My 2007 division picks -

Here goes - this is how I see things shaping up for next season. I'm sure I'll tweak this some once the season gets closer.

AFC East: Jets (Jets will continue to build on last season's success and get over the hump as long as Pennington stays healthy.)

AFC North: Steelers (A healthy and refocused Big Ben to start the season is critical as well as a new attitude on defense with head coach Tomlin providing the spark.)

AFC South: Colts (Colts have this division in check for the foreseeable future - they're just far superior.)

AFC West: Chargers (Chargers remain the class of the West. Can team put disappointing end to the '06/'07 playoffs behind them?)

playoff teams: Patriots and Ravens
on the bubble: Titans and Jaguars

NFC East: Redskins (Something tells me that Skins will make some noise in 2007/2008. Jason Campbell should be much improved. The defense will be the key.)

NFC North: Packers (Favre comes back one more time to try and return the Pack to the playoffs. Green Bay showed marked improvement this past season and the division doesn't appear to be too brutal and is therefore up for grabs.)

NFC South: Falcons (This franchise has underachieved more than any other over the past two seasons. Petrino was a great hire and if he can sell his system and develop good team chemistry, the Birds could go a long way.)

NFC West: Seahawks (Seattle skated by in 2007 and was fortunate to make the postseason. This division is slowly but surely getting better, but for the time being, this is the only logical pick.)

playoff teams: Bears and Panthers
on the bubble: Saints, Cowboys, and Giants

We Crimson Tide fans have always had a soft spot for the Jets because of Joe Willy!

Aha! I like the way you think Borski! I was picking that for the SB since the Saints lost this year.

AFC
North: Steelers
East: Patriots
South: Colts
West: Chargers

Wild Card: Titans/Jets/Ravens

NFC
North: Packers
East: Eagles
South: Saints
West: 49ers

Wild Card: Cowboys/Seahawks/Cardinals

I wasn't too sure on my Wildcards. The Cards and Hawks...that's a tossup.
