I think the bookies would be quite cautious when placing odds for a team only a year removed from being SB Champs.

There are more unknown factors this year than anytime in recent memory.

Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless.
The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

I was watching Cold Pizza yesterday...One of the commentators picked the Chargers next year..but said that the Steelers was his "darkhorse" to come back in a big way.

I'm not so sure that it will next year..but it warmed my heart

The Chargers looked great for 95% of the year and probably would have presented the Colts with the most difficult AFCCG match up.

That looks like a team that has a definite 'window of opportunity' - they have made great use of their high draft picks - I would say they have one of the most potent offenses in the NFL (along with the Colts) if not the most potent.

In recent years the Steelers have never been very far away from postseason contention, thats a good enough reason to suppose they'll be there or thereabouts.

Im definitely in the camp that expects them to make the playoffs.
