Default Official Steelers Needs for the Draft Thread

I see all of these draft topics and thought we should have all of our draft discussions in one thread.

1st round - Olinemen
2nd round - Power Running Back someone like Tony Hunt or Michael Bush
3rd Round - LB
4th round - WR

Thats all the needs I can think of.

i don't really agree with what you think our needs are

we are fine at OL, maybe levi would be good, but i hear he's gonna be a left tackle and we don't need to replace faneca yet

no we don't need a power back in the second round

we need a lb in the first round

4th round, we always cut that pick so maybe someone that would actually be used, and i think it should be the punter from baylor, it's a good value pick since the last few years we've cut the 4th rounder anyway, at least now we have our career punter

also, we have a good wr core, ward, holmes, washington, and if he'll restructure to stay cheap then wilson, we also have willie reid that still has potential. and more importantly we still have heath miller

Here's an interesting link regarding who the Steelers could potentially draft.

http://www.fantasyfootballjungle.com....php?steam=Pit

If you click on the players name it will tell you who is more than likely to be the front runners in picking them.

Can Michael Bush or this guy Marshawn Lynch(think that?s his name) fall to us at the 3rd or 4th round?

Marshawn Lynch is a projected early 1st rounder! There's no chance of him being available in the third.

I feel the team's greatest need going into the draft is a pure pass rusher, most likely coming from a DE/OLB tweener type player. Followed by OL depth, ILB, power back to compliment Parker, and WR. I do not feel cb is that great of a need as others do, although I would not be disappointed if the Steelers drafted one.

Needs are OLB...OL depth...CB depth...ILB...a legit third WR..and P/K replacements..

You really cant put them in order..because you have to many factors that play into the draft...1) Team position in the draft 2) skill-position depth in the draft 3) players that slide into later rounds 4) runs on certain positions 5) trades

need is just one of several things you have to look at.
