Courtesy of SteelCitySports.com, some of their articles you have to pay to see, so if anyone has a membership, they should definately post some of them here. Anyways, here's the article...
'Big Chris' the latest phenom By Jim Wexell, Steel City Sports Date: Aug 12, 2005 LATROBE ? Casey Hampton weighed into training camp at a svelte 320 pounds, but he may be too light for today?s game because today he is going up against guard Chris Kemoeatu. Since he?s a rookie, and needs to stay in shape to make the team, Kemoeatu hasn?t eaten too many defensive backs this camp. So he?s down a bit, too, at 340 pounds. Ready, set, let the earth rumble. Oof! Once again, Kemoeatu has stood up the man with the lowest center of gravity in football. Onlookers are shocked. ?I?ve never seen a guy stand Casey up like that,? said defensive lineman Chris Hoke. ?He?s a strong kid. Real strong.? All Hampton can do is shake his head. ?He?s a load in there,? said Hampton. ?You?ve got to work the edge on him because if you go down the middle, it?s over. He anchors down real, real good.? Casey Hampton, finesse pass rusher. The world is turning. Here?s what others are saying about the Steelers? latest phenom... Anyway, I love the sound of this kid. If he's already pushing around Casey Hampton, that's gotta say something, considering Casey hasnt shown any signs of lingering weakness from his knee. What do you guys think? Future O-Line anchor? or is he the equivalent of a 300+ pound boulder on our line? If so, is that a bad thing? lol Your thoughts?

Of course, too early to tell about his prospects long-term, but it's a good sign. Very encouraging. Can never have enough too much depth on the O-line.

This is a very good thing. Casey isnt used to getting pushed around in camp or in the regular season. So this will help keep him on his toes, and its looking more and more like we did indeed find a big steal in this years draft in Chris K.

This is definitely good to hear. I wasn't sure how the guy would do when we drafted him. It seems like he is doing great. As Blitz said Casey is not usually pushed around. It impresses me that this guy is doing just that. I am very interested to see how this guy will progress.
