Did the Bears fire his ass or something? Why would he make a lateral move if it wasn't a increase in money/promotion ?

This is all I found.....
Bears shake up coaching staff February 8, 2007 BY ASSOCIATED PRESS The NFC champion Bears shook up their coaching staff Thursday, saying defensive line coach Don Johnson and assistant offensive line coach Harold Goodwin won't return and that another assistant has left to take a college job. Offensive quality control coach Mike Bajakian also accepted the offensive coordinator job at Central Michigan after three seasons in Chicago. Johnson spent two seasons with the Bears after five years as an assistant at UCLA, while Goodwin was hired shortly after Lovie Smith became the head coach in January 2004. The moves came four days after the Bears lost to Indianapolis in the Super Bowl. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/footb...020807.article

Just found this. Going by the PPG article, he was fired.
"Goodwin, 33, was fired this week as the assistant offensive line coach with the Chicago Bears, where he worked the past three seasons" http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07040/760819-100.stm

What can he do for us, if he was fired by Chicago? I'm starting to question some of his hirings.

Personally, I'm trying to figure out why four guys need two coaches in the first place. I still laugh when I hear a team hire a TE end coach and an assistant TE coach.
