Default 53 man roster Survivor

I think we should do something like THIS-http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=citadel-2_419090_71&prov=citadel&type=story

BUT FOR THE STEELERS.

i couldnt do it because i havent been to ONE training camp, and havent heard as much of u guys have. Do u guys have people that go down to like every training camp? I know here in DC over at thehogs.net, there are a group of mods and admins taht go over there everyday, and they have a tent with the logo, and have tshirts and stuff, and actually some players wear the shirts. They have a report on training camp every day. It is great. U guys dont have anything like that right? Nontheless, i stil lthink we all know enough to do this! Is willie going to be third string RB?

THats pretty interesting. We've had several members go up to TC so far and came back w/ great information, stories and pics. but it would be interesting to post up who we all think will be on the 53 man roster. Im too tired to think through it tonite so far, but I'll ponder it some more over the next day or so and see what I can come up with for who I think will last. The majority of it is pretty obvious, its the last several spots that take the thinking.

Ok, I?ve put together a list of the people we?re fairly sure will be on the roster this year. I?m including Hines because the general consensus is that he will show up sooner or later. Here we go.

QB ? Roethlisberger, Maddox

HB ? Bettis, Staley

FB ? Kreider

WR ? Ward, Randle El, Wilson

TE ? Miller, Tuman

T ? M. Smith, Starks, Brooks

G ? Faneca, Simmons, Jones

C ? Hartings, Okobi

NT ? Hampton, Hoke

DE ? Smith, Von Oelhoffen, Keisel, Kirschke

OLB ? Porter, Haggans, J. Harrison, Jackson

ILB ? Farrior, Foote, Kriewaldt

CB ? Townsend, Williams, Colcough, Taylor

FS ? Hope

SS - Polamalu

K ? Reed

P ? Gardocki

LS - Schneck

Ok, so if we can all agree on those players, that leaves 13 empty spaces. Note that we don?t have back-ups for any of our safety?s or at fullback. You guys take it from here.

P.S. If anyone disagrees with this list, I can always edit it.

Don't forget Stuvaints, Chidi, and Morey. Average at position and great at ST is usually better than average at both...

I added a few more in bold:

QB ? Roethlisberger, Maddox, St. Pierre

HB ? Bettis, Staley, Parker, Haynes Herron

FB ? Kreider

WR ? Ward, Randle El, Wilson, Gibson, Mays,Morey

TE ? Miller, Tuman

T ? M. Smith, Starks, Brooks

G ? Faneca, Simmons, Jones

C ? Hartings, Okobi

NT ? Hampton, Hoke

DE ? Smith, Von Oelhoffen, Keisel, Kirschke

OLB ? Porter, Haggans, J. Harrison, Jackson

ILB ? Farrior, Foote, Kriewaldt

CB ? Townsend, Williams, Colcough, Taylor, Mcfadden

FS ? Hope, Logan

SS - Polamalu

K ? Reed

P ? Gardocki

LS - Schneck

I'm not sure about WR, I do not think they'll keep Washington, I think Morey is more important on special teams than Washignton as a 6th Wideout. Ideally, he'll be on the practice squad with Cobb. The other area I'm not sure about is if they'll keep Stuvaints at saftey, or cut him and hope one of the corners could play the saftey spot in a pinch.
