i know this questions has probably been asked a hundred times in the last week but since porter and haynes were released, jeff hartings retired,and the fact that our offense and pass coverage was horrifying last season, where should be go in the draft?

if i was the GM, this would be how i would do it:

1st-corner/O-tackle(our tackles are fat and slow and allow guys around the outside)

2nd-linebacker/corner

3rd-center

4th-quarterback(jordan palmer from UTEP, carsons bro.)

5th-RB from Colorado(weighs like 260)

6th-D-line

7th-safety

We have to go linebacker in the first round. the draft is pretty weak at cornerback this year and we dont want to pay a ton of money for a first round pick who doesnt deserve it. the defensive line and linebackers are really deep, then i think second round could be offensive line, 3rd will be defensive back maybe. who knows

I think that LB or DE is a must in the 1st round but it wouldnt
suprise me if we tab a DB if there is a top tier one left
at 15. Just a gut feeling, but dont be suprised
if we trade down from 15th..

Well, with Polamalu, Carter, and Anthony we are set for now at safety. We definately need to draft a either an LB, CB, or OL in the early rounds.

I would have to lean toward getting us a LB, Paul PSU would be a Pittsburgh native with a lot to prove. Can you say "URLACHER CLONE" Let's trade down a little bit and get another 2nd or 3rd rounder.

i would love to get paul as well... but if some reason we don't get him i think about laron landry from lsu and make him into a corner

drafting a DB in the first round would be a huge waste, it is not a need, ike will bounce back and mcfadden will be a stud. no point in wasting a high draft pick on a class that isn't even that good

our true needs in the first round is a DE/OLB player, jarvis moss would be good, anthony spencer would be good, timmons would be good
