Default Anna Nicole Smith's Funeral - Pretty in Pink

At the end of the day today another chapter will be closed in the Anna Nicole Smith saga. And while many people may believe that this is the final chapter in the life of the Marilyn Monroe wannabe, I choose to believe otherwise. Anna Nicole Smith affected the lives of many people throughout her life. The people she affected the most will gather at her funeral today to say one last goodbye to the woman who changed the lives of so many.

It was clear that Anna Nicole Smith was not without faults. She had difficulties with substance abuse and was known to sleep around with many men but one thing is for sure - Anna Nicole loved her family. And after the unexpected death of her son, Daniel, last September Anna Nicole was never the same. It was clear in her interviews with The Insider and Entertainment Tonight that she was suffering from depression. A depression so strong that it may have taken the life of the 39 year old.

Anna Nicole's body will be flown from Florida to the Bahamas where the funeral ceremony will take place. The ceremony will consist of 30 of Anna's closest family members and friends, but her young daughter, Dannielynn will not be present. Red and pink flowers will be handed out to the people attending the funeral. A red flower will be given in remembrance of Daniel and a pink in remembrance of Anna Nicole. Pink was Smith's favorite color and she will be buried in a pink dress. The guests will also be given a piece of paper to write down their thoughts of Anna Nicole. Each paper will be buried with Anna Nicole to show how many lives she affected in her 39 years on earth.

Entertainment Tonight and The Insider will be covering all the details of the funeral ceremony. Check back tomorrow for exclusive details on the funeral and the latest in the search for the cause of Anna Nicole Smith's death.

Tacky, tacky, tacky......and she would have loved every minute of it.

Thank God. Everyday I wake up and I ask myself "What's going to happen to Anna Nicole Smith?!?!?"

I love this country's priorities...

They should have one of those little ticket things like at Bread Stores to see who is in line next to be her kids dad.

Can't wait to see that episode of Maury Povich.

It'll be the opposite of a normal episode--all they guys will want the DNA test to point to them.

Anna Nicole Smith.

Wasn't her REAL name Tammy Hogan or something? I'm pretty sure you can find plenty just like her wrapped around some stripper pole or other in your neck of the woods...any one of which is just as qualified to be famous, since fame is now based on discovering a way to be famous.

Yeah, it was Vikki Hogan. And not to disrespect her at this point, but I dont really think people would know her unless she got married to that 80 year old cash cow and inherited all the :
All in all, I'm just waiting for either some new catastrophe to happen. I hope this isn't like the Kennedy curse, it sure seems like it. First Daniel, then Anna, next is either Dannilyn, Anna's mom, or Howard. However, I'm getting alittle tired of turning on the TV and seeing Nicole Smith news.
As for the father, just get a paternity test for crap's sake and get it over with!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's sad that even for people (like me) who don't care a lick, we still know all the players and the general plot just through osmosis. Hard to avoid, though, since the media is absolutely obsessed. Here's the scary thing...the media obviously gives the general public zero credit and assumes that this garbage is the kind of thing we care about in general, so they force-feed this crap to us. What if they are right? What if we've, as a society, stooped so low that we actually care more about the slime trail of some silicone chested white-trash drugged out skank-***** more than the REAL issues confronting us?
