Default Pittsburgh to make early run at Matt Turk?

Looks like the Steelers are eyeing up a new punter - Matt Turk of the Rams.

I have no idea what his kick-offs are like.

Quote:
Linehan also is hopefully of re-signing punter Matt Turk, offensive lineman Todd Steussie and linebacker Dexter Coakley. (Coakley was cut Monday by the Rams, but they want to re-sign him at a lesser rate.)

Pittsburgh, where former Rams special teams coach Bob Ligashesky now works, is expected to make an early run at Turk.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

so much for the steelers mixings in the free agency sweepstakes. im sure the steelers new special teams coach can tell us all about matt turk.

(for the same price i'd say hes younger and an upgrade from gardocki.)
