Thomas Jones to the Jets
preliminary reports from espn, for a 2nd rounder. im not sure if the bears have to send any picks, but this is a good move for the jets, jones, and i guess the bears, although they are losing a good runner. good runners are easy to find though.

its even better for the jets. they give up the redskins 2nd round pick (#37?) that they got in a trade, but they get t. jones AND the bears 2nd round pick in return. (#70?).
the jets still have 2 2nd rounders and their 1st, and have to spend none on a rb. |

Its a win for both teams, but especially the Jets.
Its should be noted that Jones has spent his whole career to date in the NFC, I think he will probably find yards a little tougher to come by in the AFC. The Jets are in solid position for the draft. NM

I think the jets are going to be the biggest player in the afc east this season. I think it's safe to say they now have more talent then the pattys
