Default Help!

Would anyone be able to suggest the best way to set up a draft board for the upcoming live draft. This is my first attempt so am looking for someone to give advice (good)

Looking at ESPN FF mag they suggest that the first 9 picks are all RB, I would have thought that a QB would be chosen first, followed by WR then RB

Having read a few comments on the forum already I notice that someone suggested a Defence in the 1st round, wondered if that was b******s just to try to get someone to waste their 1st selection though.

Without tipping my hand too much in viuew of what ESPN suggest then I was thinking about taking Tiki Barber, then LaMonte Jordan in the second is the a good idea or should I be looking to take a QB in the 1st/2nd Round?

What pick do you have? I never take a QB in the first round ever. The value at QB this year is going to be Manning then everyone else equal do not waste a pick on a QB in the first 4 rounds IMO. I usually go RBRBWRWR, unless there is someone you just can not pass in the second like a top 5 WR. But then again a lot depends on the scoring set up your league is using.

Im not giving away any of my secrets but I can tell you that many of your FF diehards will go for RB or WR first, and actually many will take RB's and WR's w/ the first few picks atleast, and then go QB in the mid rounds.

You dont always have to have a manning or culpepper as your QB to have a good season.

Defense in the 1st round..no need too..there are plenty of good ones in the mid rounds.

I like to draft RB RB QB WR WR DEF then after that is depends on how many bench spots you have...

You also have to look at how many points each player can score in one year. Some leagues play it different as far as QB getting completion points and RB getting attempt points.

It all comes down to points so take the most points first and then so on....

Good Luck!!
