Cool Plummer will not be a Buc, confirms retirement...

Well, he said he would retire before becoming a Buccaneer, and he just confirmed it in this 5 minute statement......with no question/answer period afterward.

I guess he really wanted to go to Houston...........oh well.

Not to sound too callous, but I really cannot say that the League will actually miss him.

I stand by what I said in another thread - as soon as a team's starting QB goes down next season putting them in a bind, Plummer will be back in a uniform somewhere.

I guess "retirement" is often temporary and means I don't like my current options unless or until the situation/money is right.

I'm with you and FanSince'76 on this one.

Same thing with Junior Seau. Hasn't he "retired" twice already and is still playing? Last year he was retired for what? a month?

what does he thinks he has any leverage at all i dont who why anyone would want him. He has a good D and a good running game and a good line and a QB friendly coach and what did he give the broncos? A LOSS TO DEM STEELERS IN THE AFC TITLE GAME BOYS

go black and gold

Plummer will not be missed. He is a feast or famine QB (mostly famine as of late). His greatest asset coming out of College was his mobility and Jake long since lost that.
