What are you looking for tonite??
Some improvement out of Ben? Or the entire first offense? Willie Parker to get a lot of carries? Or are you more interested in seeing Heath Miller get some catches?\ Or are you more into defense? Looking to see if Hope is the right guy at safety? Or are you looking for our young corners, Ike, Coc & McFad to step up? I know you all want to see more Harrison! Special teams . Are you waiting to see the next return for a TD? Give us your thoughts before the game! I truly beleive that this is the ultimat Steelers forum. And you members are as knowledgable as they come. I really look forward to all the opinions good and bad. So lets here it. Then we`ll all see if any of our questions got answered. Go Steelers!

I would like to see:
Our O-line come together more, has Mad Max improved in coverage ? Our young corners improve in coverage Ben work on those "floating throws" whatever mechanics are slacking These three areas could be the key to how our season goes as well......... |

Here is what I'm looking for:
1. Some separation from Washington, Gibson, and Cobb. Washington has looked the best so it looks like both Gibson and Cobb have to show more 2. Alonzo Jackson must do something more instead of pretending like he's a pass rusher. He's terrible out there and he looks clueless. Thus far, he's a bust 3. The continued improvement of both Simmons and Starks on the OL. If they can stay healthy and continue to work well together, we are going to be even stronger than last year on the right side 4. Ced Wilson must do more than drop TD passes in the endzone. Ben put it right in his hands last week and he dropped it. He has to make those come the regular season and the playoffs 5. Willie Parker continue to hit the holes and develop in this system Shit, I can go on for hours... LOL! |

I am looking for our offense to get something going esp. starters. They need to start clicking in this game. I will also be watching the young recievers. From what I heard Cowher has Washington ranked #4 ahead of Gibson. I think it will be an interesting race to see who gets those roster spots.

If the starters play the first half they better score at least 13 points and convert half or better on 3rd down. If they dont' that is how the season will go. They have been awful so far and in the last preseason game they will be lucky to play one quarter.

I have to disagree with you Bigbensgirl7. Typically the 3rd preseason game where the starters play half or better. It is ususally the last tune up for the starters, then they start to hold them back to avoid injuries and fatigue. If they look bad, it will be a long season.

This is the most important preseason game..this is where you want the offense to move the chains and have good drives, and the defense to continue doing what it has been all preseason. this is the game where alot of players will make or break themselves before the Turk arrives next week for the first round of cuts.
Lots of Parker, Haynes, and Herron...wanna see especially more of Noah, we already know what haynes and parker can do. Wanna see Nate Washington continue to step it up and take a roster spot from Mays The backup OL to dominate and give Maddox and BSP alot of room and good throwing lanes. |
