Default Shootout almost gets Brandon Short.

Giants | Short near crossfire of fatal shootings
Fri, 16 Mar 2007 09:42:55 -0700
ESPN.com reports New York Giants LB Brandon Short escaped harm during a shootout Wednesday, March 14, in New York's Greenwich Village, where police brought down a gunman who shot and killed a man and two police officers. Short was shopping at a jewelry store when gunfire erupted. Short ran to the back of the store and dropped to the floor when the shooting between police and gunman David Garvin began. "I was fearful for my life," Short told the New York Daily News. "There were bullets flying everywhere." Police engaged Garvin in a gun battle after he shot a man in a pizzeria as well as officers Nick Pekearo and Eugene Marshalik. Police reportedly fired 56 shots at Garvin before killing him.

56 shots.. Have they ever heard of the shooting range. If that happen in my small town the country hick cops would of taken him out within 2 shots. And we only have 2 cops.. lol..
