I think your right on about Revis. If we stay at 15 he is one of only a few deserving of that pick IMO. I still hold out hope for Carriker, I just think he will produce from the get go. That's not saying Revis won't, I believe he will also.

I'd like to see us use our extra 4th and 5th to make a move on day 1 for more defense and O-line.

You know LLT, that you and I have been pimping Bradley but for some reason I'm not sure he is on the Steelers radar. I would hope so because he has the size and the ability IMO to play without much grooming as would be the case with a DE/OLB.

I don't want to guess anymore, I'm just counting the days!!

i just posted in the nfl draft section how colbert really wants to move down and acquire more 3rds and 4ths. jerry jones wants to trade up.

trade 15 for dallas' 1st and 2nd. then trade #22 to either the jets, saints, or patriots, for their 1st and a 3rd or 4th. we still probably land timmons or poz, maybe a top ranked cb and get and additional 2nd and 3rd.

Sidney Rice
There are people in the NFL who question Rice's ability to run routes. There are others who question his experience, since he played just two seasons in college. (Rice missed his freshman season due to injury and his decision to turn pro early was based on economic concerns for his mother).

However, if Rice stayed another season at South Carolina, we'd be talking about a potential top 10-15 pick in the 2008 draft.

Rice's play and his numbers for Steve Spurrier were eye-popping. Rice chalked up back-to-back seasons of over 70 catches and 1,000 receiving yards. The speedster had six 100-yard receiving games in 2005 and five in 2006.

And despite his pedestrian time in the 40 (4.51), I am still calling him a speedster. Rice's game-day ability to burn was impressive.

In talking at length to Rice on Wednesday, he says that his basketball background as a kid is a big part of his game as a receiver, being able to out-grapple corners.

Rice loved playing for Spurrier and says he learned a lot: "Good coaching and paying attention in meeting rooms. That's the only way to get on the field and produce in South Carolina. I feel blessed to have coaches like Coach Spurrier and Coach Spurrier Jr. I learned so much from them that will help me be an NFL player."

The receiver has had very good meetings with the Chargers, Saints, Panthers and Patriots. Rice could be a steal for one of those teams, or a squad like the Niners or Chiefs in the second round.
