i was born in hawaii and have always remained a big-time Hawaii fan (along with Notre Dame- weird combo huh) and i was wondering if they was any other Hawaii/Colt Brennan fans among steeler nation.
i know its a little early to be talking college football season especially since the draft is just this weekend but my brother and i just got in an arguement over who we think is the top QB left in college now. he says its Brian Brohm, while i agree i feel that Brennan could actually be better. Both bring great things to the table. in the end i think completing 73% of your passes (then when you factor in dropped balls he would actually be closer to 80%) while throwing it close to 500 times is something you just cant ignore. he has all the tools that you need to make it in the NFL- size, arm, knowledge of the game (when to throw, who to throw it to, coverage, blitzes) and something that always helps- hes very mobile. i dont know how many people will actually agree with me so watch Hawaii this year they play on ESPN four times this year. youll get a chance too see a very special QB who i think doesnt get enough credit |

I like Brennan. I follow him very closely and I saw him play in person in 2006 when Hawaii played at Alabama. He'll be a top notch NFL QB. He made the right decision to stay at UH for one more season.

Well I think Colt, doesn't get the credit he deserves since Timmy Chang had all that success at Hawaii so I think Colt gets labled as a system QB. I do think though Colt Brennan is better then Timmy Chang. He has better physical skills then Chang thats for sure. I think Brennan will be a first round pick.

I love the guy as well, he is a great player and if the NFL scouts think that he is more than a system player, then they will take a long look at him and disect him and then he will be a MVP candidate in the AFL... Arena Football League

He will need to lead them to wins in their tough games and win whatever bowl game they get into which for his sake had better be outside Hawai'i.

I love Colt. I seen him play live and he is great. I think he could be a great NFL quarterback. And if he does get drafted, I hope it's to Miami, since two of his former teammates were drafted by them.

I like CB a lot, but I think his stats are way inflated due to playing so much inferior competition...and that will keep him from winning the Heisman.
