I've played fantasy long enough to know better, though. You stick with your studs and ignore the "flash in the pans".

That's why I haven't started Shaub yet. I know he'll have a couple great games this season, but not yet.

I would've done that Kevin Curtis/Hines Ward thing, so eh.

Ok Week 3 update.

LITP beat Pittsburghp8baller

A mammoth week for Westbrook backed up by very good weeks for Kitna and Burress were enough for LITP to win comfortably.

GBMelBlount beat CantStop85

Ronnie Brown was the big story for GBMB with solid contributions from Ellis Hobbs and TJ Housh.

CS85 will be wary of starting Marc Bulger in future after he racked up minus points in week 3.

NCSteeler beat The Duke

Anquan Boldin comes up huge for NC along with good support from Romo and Marion Barber.

A big week from Tom Brady can't save the Duke from losing his unbeaten record.

Buzz05 beat The Rev

Congrats to Buzz for this weeks top score - Kevin Curtis, Reggie Bush and Derrick Mason bring home the big points.

Rev suffers from the decision to bench McNabb in favor of Schaub but his whole team had a poor week (apart from the ever consistent Randy Moss).

KATK9 beat Hines86ward

A solid outing from KATK9 is enough to dispose of Hines86Ward who owns the second QB this week to actually lower his teams points total.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

Paging Mr. Jackson. Mr. Steven Jackson.

Oh wait, on top of sucking for 3 weeks, you're now injured. Great first overall pick.

Didn't get around to it last week, but here are the week 3 results.

HometownGal v. SteelCityMan786

Pittsburgh's Defense along with solid work from receivers Driver, Welker, Branch, and Dallas Clark helped build a winning performance for HTG. SCM had nice stats from running backs Ronnie Brown and Joseph Addai, but in the end couldn't add it up.

Stlrtruck v. Section 514

In a low scoring duel, Section514 had nice efforts on special teams and defense as New England's squad along with Neil Rackers had 15 points each, along with nice points from Marshaun Lynch and Chris Cooley. In the end, though, Marion Barber and T.J. Houshmandzadeh helped Truck secure a victory.

verks36 v. PalmerSteel

Coaching neglect from verks began to add up as Brandon Jacobs tried to play injured and only 2 defenders were fielded, as PalmerSteel improved to 3-0 with WRs Mason, Edwards, and Coles all finding the endzone. Drew Brees actually hurt the team as his 5 turnovers totaled a -.10 performance. Ultimately, though Palmer easily reeled in the W.

Stainless Steel v. Steelkings

In a game that went down to the wire, on Sunday Night, Shaun Suisham wasn't able to bridge the gap for Stainless as Steelkings edged out a 160.19-153.74 victory. Standing out for the Kings were stellar outings by Tom Brady and Anquin Boldin, which were able to best the efforts by Donovan McNabb and Roy Williams.

Newfoxjr. v. Crushzilla

Crushzilla rode the coattails of Brian Wesbrook, scoring almost a quarter of total points in a blowout. Dallas' defense and Tony Romo cashed in a third of Newzfox's total points, but in the end steady games for Crush from Burress, Owens, and Hasselbeck proved to be too much.

(Thanks Nigel for the screenshot info)

Games for Week 4, the bye weeks begin and roster selections become interesting
Stlrtruck v Crushzilla
Steelcityman786 v. SteelKings
HometownGal v. Newxfoxjr.
Section514 v. verks36
PalmerSteel v. Stainless Steel

I'm the only one who has beaten LITP, and I said I would do it earlier in this thread, I'm so happy even though I lost this week
