Sidney Crosby could sit and take shots during every interview he gives about the former Edzo coaching staff. God knows there are enough legitimate reasons to do so, but he doesn't. Why? Because he realizes that the organization as a whole has moved on and that it doesn't do any good.

Oh yeah, btw he's 19. Mature beyond his years. But unfortunately they make them all different. Still doesn't change the fact in my opinion.

good point on sidney, but even kobe bryant was considered "mature beyond his years" at 19. he kinda looks like a prick now.

but i agree, and cant wait for the day ben simply does all his talking on the field and only gives a rare, self serving interview, everytime he knocks up some model or actress out of wedlock.

No doubt, they make them all differently even though Kobe always came off as a smug S.O.B. in my book, but that was just my opinion of the guy. For what Sid has accomplished in such a short period of time (sound familiar?) the kid has stayed completely grounded. He doesn't have a "Big" head and chooses his words wisely during interviews and he has been interviewed more than any other athlete in this city over the past year.

They interviewed Sid on "In My Own Words" on FSN Pittsburgh. He was asked about the comparisons between the former coaching staff compared to the present day coaching staff. He kept it short and sweet. Something along the lines of "They were two different coaches and both had their different styles of coaching" and that he "respects both coaches.". End of it. Next question. Since that interview he has not brought up the former coaching regime. He doesn't bitch and moan about how Edzo "held him back" while he was watching players such as Ovechkin clock more ice time. He doesn't go on a rant about how other players on the team were "underutilized" by the past coaching regime.

Also, it's amazing how that damn media always misconstrues Ben's comments. Why not Sid's? Why not Jason Bay's? Why not Mario Lemieux's? Why not Casey Hampton's?
