This could probably aside from the Arizona game, be the most anticipated Steeler matchup this season. First, we have Joey P. saying a few words, then we have Mr. Jason Taylor calling our current situation a "mess" in recent SI article. I know it's his opinion and he's entitled to it, but do you think he should've kept it to himself? He needs to to worry about his own damn team, IMO. How would you like it if one of the Steelers came out and called completely unrelated teams like the Niners or Titans a mess? I'm sorry, this just doesn't make any sense to me.

"Mess" would probably be their quarterback situation. If the season started today, at least we'd have all our positions filled.
What's with Taylor, lately? I don't remember him ever being vocal about issues outside the team. First, the beef with performance enhancers and Merriman (thought I agree), then the Steelers' "mess." Bitter Peezy was probably airing dirty laundry in his new locker room, but Peezy has no idea what's going on here now. He needs to get his own priorities straight since he'll probably be facing a lawsuit from Levi Jones. That will be a good game, though. They have built a VERY solid front seven, but when its all said and done, I see our offense outperforming theirs.

Talk is cheap, so I'm not giving any credence to anything that comes out of Peezy's or Taylor's mouths. Porter needs to be more concerned with his play between the goalposts instead of flapping his big yap. If last season was any indication of his play coinciding with his mouth, I'd say Joey is in for a long game. Our boys will do their talking on the field
I agree with Crush here - I believe our offense can totally outperform theirs as it stands at this moment. Wait a minute - what offense?

I find it hard to imagine a Dolphins player taking a serious shot at the Steelers franchise given their relative success rates of the two teams over the last 20 years.

![]() I was surprised because I don't really regard Steelers/Miami that big of a rivalry and i've never really noticed JT badmouthing other franchises before. Having read it, it seemed like a misjudged comment - im guessing he made the comment awhile back when the HC situation was still pretty unsettled?
