Assault Accusation Against Bengals' Chris Henry

Bengals' wide-receiver Chris Henry is accused of breaking the law again.
9News has learned that Florence police interviewed Henry, along with Bengal Reggie McNeal on Tuesday.
The two football pros may have been involved in assaulting a 16-year-old boy.
The family of the victim shared their story exclusively with 9News Tuesday night.
They talked off-camera because they say they're not ready to publicly show their faces.
But they are angry, alleging that Bengals players Chris Henry, along with a few others, beat the 16-year-old so severely that he had to be treated at the hospital for his injuries.
"It's very obvious," said Captain Linny Cloyd, of the Florence police department. "I've seen the young man. There's no doubt he was assaulted. At this point we're still trying to figure out who is who – where they were."
Police say the 16-year-old and an 18-year-old friend were walking along Wetherington Boulevard near Mt. Zion Road just after 11 p.m. Friday night when, they say a black Navigator or Escalade pulled up next to them.
According to the police report, a white male jumped out and started punching the 16-year-old in the face.

I hear from other sources that it is going to be very hard to pin this to Henry and will probably result in nothing...

Yeah, Chris Henry will be able to keep his nose clean for the 1/2 season suspension coming down the pike....

True true. Only thing is in question if they can get Henry's cloths for the night in question with a warrant before he gets rid of them if in case he did do it and it should have the boys blood on it if he did such a thing. And if they did throw beer bottles and stuff it would not be to hard to get DNA of said items if they did throw them. There should be some type of evidence at the area.

It might be a couple of boys trying to cry wolf, and probably self inflicted beating on each other, hoping that they might cash in on a few bucks. Thinking that the history of Henry and McNeil play in there favor.

Like they said they were not even in the area, and if they can prove that and all evidence at the area does not point to them then there in the clear anyways.

I'm sure with the help of the Bungal front office and from the Reverend Jesse Lewis I'm sure this will be pushed under the carpet. Who's fault is it this week Reverend? The police? The 'system' in general? Complete scum from the top on down in that organization.

The story sounds a little fishy, but if it's true, happy trails Chris Henry.

Looks like a false alarm guys:

Quote:
HENRY DODGES ANOTHER BULLET

A few weeks back, a prosecutor in Kenton County, Kentucky announced that Bengals receiver Chris Henry had failed a court-ordered drug test.

The only catch? He hadn't.

This time around, a 16-year-old boy claimed that Henry and teammate Reggie McNeal assaulted him on Friday night in Florence, Kentucky.

It now appears that the claim is false.

WLWT-TV, citing an unnamed source, says that the accusation is unfounded. So, unless the unnamed source is named Marvin Lewis, it looks like Henry won't be facing any further trouble.

But these two situations highlight the trouble with players making themselves into targets.

No, no, no, NO! This is just the police and the system putting down the Bengal players and the NFL not giving these players something to do in the offseason in order for them to pass the time. Like a daycare center of some sorts. Give me an AMEN!!!
