My next poem .. for the bye week :-)

It's January now - just after the new year
The end of the season - the playoffs are near
We traveled to Buffalo for a supposed meaningless game
Don't tell our players that because the end was the same
It was a great game - we couldn't have played harder
What do you know? They weren't even starters
We played our "B" team for most of the day
They definitely showed they came to play
A Steeler win wasn't supposed to be in the cards
And a 4th string player shouldn't get 100 yards
This game gave us a chance to put our backups to the test
They showed everyone the Steelers are still the best
Two things were accomplished that have never happened before
First was leaving Buffalo in January with a winning score
That's something no other team has ever done
The second was being the first AFC team to go 15-1
Buffalo came in on a 6 game winning streak
We already had homefield and had earned the bye week
A playoff game is what the Bills sought
Totally knocked out is what they got
Thanks to the Steelers their season is done
Doesn't matter anyway because Denver won
It'll be two weeks until we play again
We definitely look forward to the return of Big Ben
We've been on cloud nine all season long
Riding a win streak now 14 games strong
Its been an unforgettable season - so many records broken
One game at a time is the only thing spoken
In the back of our minds though we hope for one goal
And the road is getting shorter to the Superbowl

Thanks for the love everyone! Ive been doing this for along time, alrhough I got away from it for a while, and this year was a new inspiration!

Dont worry! Im not gonna change my routine now! I'll have another one after the games are played this weekend :-)
