There was certainly no sarcasm intended in the original post - just an observation of a crazy start to the new season by a team I have always thought of as super-solid. Willie Parker could be a great find - but I shall withhold my judgement for a few weeks yet - but with Bettis and Staley waiting in the wings it looks good for the Steelers power running game. I have been a pretty unashamed Big Ben fan since last year (hard to be one before that I suppose LOL) - he does what needs to be done in the games I seen him in - more experienced QB's with a ton more wins have had just as much, if not worse, trouble deciphering BB's defensive schemes. I think the stick he was getting pre-season was laughable - when you consider how many people are just DYING to get the Eli Manning bandwagon. Ben will continue to make mistakes this year, but he's learning every game - might not be a bad thing if he has to handle a little adversity before he hits the post-season this time though... Cheers NM

They've been great for a while now, three Super Bowls' worth of great. But only this season have the New England Patriots become The Show, the must-see team of stars, pretty boys and reformed bad boys. Suddenly, the Patriots are not simply great; they're compelling, fascinating, appearing to be almighty and a touch lawless. The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed. |

Granted Parker has had 2 regular games, but to me it seems he does have the speed, but also finds the hole(or makes one) that Zeroure was never able to. Agree to watch but still excited...
