Told it was assumed by many that Holmes would be the starter, including the official depth chart, Wilson said that was probably natural.

"You know what? He's a first-round pick, he's young. That's obvious. But at the same time, you still have to come out to the field and play."
I couldn't help but notice an eerie similarity....

If I am permitted........

Just another reason why I'm not nor was I ever crazy about Cedrick Wilson. Him and Faneca should build a fire, curl up on a couch together, eat some chocolates and watch "Casablanca".

Unbelievable.

Seriously... Make one good catch, then another... then talk to Ben and say, HEY... throw a few more my way, see what I can do with them.

Going to the press? Yeah... Real Smart.

If they aren't throwing him the ball during practice though, how is he supposed to work on his weak hands?

This is the third year I havve had to listen to Wilson. He does drop far too many passes to be saying anything at all. I think Ben may be sending a message to the Turk. Keep a young talnted receiver and let Wilson go find himself an arena league QB who will let the baby have his ball.

We needed Cedric Wilson last season but this season, SHOW HIS A$$ THE DOOR!

I'm already tired of hearing the whining of a couple of players, Alan Faneca, Hines Ward and now Cedric Wilson. They can't do much about the first 2 but Cedric can hit the street a walking.
STFU ALREADY!

Maybe Ced wants the opportunity to complain to the ref when he misses the catch. Problem with that is, there are no refs to complain to. Cedrick is a soft-*** WR who can't catch a ball even with one guy covering him to save his life.

Cedrick isn't BAD; he's just not outstanding. He's reached his limit, and his limit is C+. That's fine, and any team with a bunch of guys like Cedrick will go 9-7, 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 year in and year out; they won't go 3-13, but they won't go 13-3 either.

The problem for Cedrick is that that is not what we are trying to accomplish.

There's a place for Cedrick in this league. But it might not be on this team, that's all.

If I am Wilson I better hope I get a call to visit Tomlin in the principal's ofice after that outburst - if Tomlin lets it slide it means it has already been determined Wilson is not making it on to the final roster.

Wilson popped off like this midway through the 2005 season by complianing the Steelers did not throw the ball often enough and appears to be a malcontent.

If Porter was released for reasons including the potential for disruptive conduct this coming season I cannot imagine why Cedrick "Hands Of Stone" Wilson will be retained.
