I also don't think they see that if it was not for injury the Steelers might have repeated last year. The way I here sports annalist talk about last year its as if Ben wasn't in a bike accident, have an appendix removed and suffer severe concussion all within a 3month period. All they quote is his stats. After you almost go through a windshield on a bike, your ability to process information in 3 seconds will be diminished for a period of time ( like 4-5 months not 4-5 weeks ). I believe he was thinking more about getting the ball out of his hands than going through progression and finding the open receiver.

I agree many people dont realize the fact the ben went under anesthesia twice withen a couple of months thats going to take a lot out of any body plus that was only his third season ben will be great

This is how i see it.

We lose to the pats in regular season play, then beat them in the AFC championship.

We hand the pats their first lost in the regular season (ending perfect season), then beat them in AFC Championship :)

Honestly If our offense plays the way they did against the saints, I mean tossing the rock all around the field, Then I believe we go 12-4, but if we try to pound pound pound we are going to lose half our problem last year was that yeah Willie could break the big run but he couldnt get those powerback yards you know, Hopefully Tomlin realizes that although Parker is a great back he definetly isant a bruiser, although in some situations last year I think he should of played way more third down back because Davenport sucked ass and Haynes was hurt, also did anyone see that Davis guy he's pretty good is a a undrafted rookie as well

The key to the Steelers season this year will be getting off to a fast start and winning the games they're supposed to win. Those first 5 games are all very winnable, almost must-win games. Broncos, Bengals, Ravens will be a tough stretch. Then Browns, Jets, Dolphins will be three more winnable games. Finally, the Steelers finish with a brutal 5 games: Bengals, Patriots, Jaguars, Rams, and Ravens.
