Every team in the league knows basically every other teams playbook... every team watches countless miles worth of video on their opponent every week. They already know what a teams tendancies are, where they strong points are and who the go to people are in key situations. There are only so many variations of plays that teams will run, they just disguise them differently each week and use them at different times.

This isnt as big of a deal as it may seem, IMO.

"I'm actually happy to get a fresh start, especially on a team like this," St. Pierre said. "We'll go from there. It was a tough situation for me in Pittsburgh. They're really deep at that position."

St. Pierre may not be in the active roster, but he's hard to miss in the locker room. He took Derek Anderson's stall, which is the very first one as you enter the room from the main entrance...

Quarterback Brian St. Pierre turned down the Steelers' offer of a three-week minimum contract on their 53-man roster to remain on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

The move will cost St. Pierre thousands of dollars but he believes it's better for his career to remain in Baltimore, his agent said.

We got turned down by St. Pierre!

The Ravens and Jags are notorious for signing ex-Steelers. More power to 'em. Doesn't seem to be helping them out much...(lol).

I'm sure he realizes there's no future for him in Pittsburgh......so why even bother.
Who knows he could be the Ravens starting QB before the season ends.

the pats sign more ex steelers than anybody and it seems to help them out tremendously. in 2001, 2002, last years play off, and this years game it seemed they knew every time we were running and where to. and they seem to always find the holes in our zone with their passing game. i think thats why it seems they have our number. they have a constant flow of offensive and defensive players of ours going through there on a yearly basis.

That's no joke...Boller is a bust, Kordell's best days (and they weren't very good to begin with) are behind him, and the other guy is a Steelers scrap heap guy when we were a lot worse off at QB.

That may very well be true, Tony, but I was specifically talking about the Ravens and the Jags. The Ravens are welcome to St. Pierre. We didn't really want him after all, and I highly doubt the Ravens will "have our number" because of him because the Ravens are too dumb. Just my opinion.
