Actually, Lee Mays lives inside John Kuhn's locker. Pops out and suits up when we need him. He's on call 24/7.

NFL rookie leaders from last season

Receiving:

Marques Colston - 1,038

Santonio Holmes - 824

Reggie Bush - 742

Greg Jennings - 632

Hank Baskett - 464

Receptions:

Reggie Bush - 88

Marques Colston - 70

Santonio Holmes - 49

Maurice Jones-Drew - 46

Greg Jennings - 45
Got any stats handy with the minus yards with drops, fumbles, not to mention game killing momentum Holmes doled out in 06-07?

He made a few good catches and one good one against the Bengals in the last game
of the season.

I for one love what I have seen from Holmes and I indeed think that he is ready to be a no.2 WR in a Steelers' uniform. He has bigplay ability that Cedric doesnt. I think that Cedric should be our no.3 guy but it is Holmes turn as a starter.

Cedrick Wilson, is that you?

I love when people expect a rookie WR to come into the league and light it up on day one of his NFL career while playing on a team who's QB and o-line struggled.

Also, he's having a pretty nice preseason to start off his second year wouldn't you say? So yeah, going from what I saw in the second half of last season and from what I've seen so far this preseason, it's pretty safe to say it.......

A rookie is a rookie.

He is developing really well. Heck, I am willing to say that he is better now then Burress was in his 4th year.

The season he makes 75-80 catches...scores 8-12 TD's and does not stay on the field for PR and KR...I'll believe.

Until then...he is the main disaster of 2006 for the team. He sent them on a roller coaster
downhill.emotionally....and they never recovered from that. The Steelers live and play on emotion.

We should have drafted or FA'd a 6'2, every down player who didn't grow up in Compton.
