This is pretty neat.
DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute . Work this out as you read . Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things (well actual it is), but it's fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat. (more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757 .... If you haven't, add 1756. 6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number (I.e., how! Many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.) The next two numbers are YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!) THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2007) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS.

Pretty cool. Only thing I don't get is why this would only work this year, as 2007 doesn't directly figure into any of the math? For each subsequent year after 2007, couldn't you just add 1 to the numbers 1757 and 1756 in the problem and have the age portion of the final result come out correctly?

I not sure.
My mom e-mailed this to me and I just copied it.

Actually, it would - I just did a hypothetical calculation based on my age one year from now and it came out correctly - the key numbers in the problem are 1757 and 1756. Using these two numbers, this is the only year it would work out correctly. You would just need to add one to both numbers if you were going to send this to someone a year from now for it to work out correctly then.

OK. Heres another one.
Get a tape measure and pull it out to 107" - 07 represents the current year. Grab the tip and put it the 107 mark. Look at the last two digits (2001 = 101) of the year you were born and the number next to it is your age.
