Yep the 80's was a hard time. But I think the Steelers, Browns rivalry is just starting to heat back up. Hopefully the Browns don't get to hot though.

Forgive me for this one, but the gig is still out on Tomlin. He coached one good season with Cowher's players. I believe that Tampa Bay coach did that after Tony left, and Barry Switzer with the Cowboys. Don't get me wrong, he's done the right thing by ensuring the system matches the players, but it could still have been a fluke.

I have to disagree, we really just need to get hot! lol But that's only a naturaly inclination on both our parts.

I suppose the same could be said about Crennel. He sucked his first 2 seasons as the Browns HC to the point where a lot of Browns fans were calling for his head on a plate. The Browns finished a respectful 10-6 under Tub-eo last season but "it could still have been a fluke".

Romeo - put down the Krispy Kremes!

True, but in Romeo's defense, he took over a very crappy team. They fielded a team that might not have a lot of games in the NCAA. Phil and Romeo came in with a vision for the team and have slowly built towards that vision.

Cowher wouldn't have won many games with our team the first two years of RC's legacy. RC and Phil both admitted when they first came on board that it was going to take a while to fix the team.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. RC did in fact inherit a bad team. I think he along with the front office have done a great job turning it around. The only flaw I saw in RC was that IMO Anderson was the starter from the get go. Instead, they tried giving Frye a shot.

What about that other guy? You know, um, number 10?

Is Brady Quinn really not better than Derek Anderson? Or Charlie Frye for that matter?

That's what I want to know.
