Default What's Important

Did you guys hear the story about Charlie Weis and the kid who recently died from cancer? It's very touching. I'm not very good at links and stuff, but maybe someone can post it. It's on ESPN and CNN.

The long and short of it is, Weis went to see a kid with terminal cancer, literally having just a few days to live, and the kid requested to call the 1st offensive play in last Saturdays game, which was "Pass left". Sure enough, even though they were pinned deep (I think their own 3), Weis honored the kids wishes and called a waggle left pass, and they completed it for 17 yards. After the game, he had all the ND players sign a gameball that he was going to take to the kid Sunday.

Unfortunately, the kid passed away Friday night.
