Honestly, I don't expect us to have to play much more than vanilla with chocolate sauce for the first four of our games. Why show our playbook to the Ravens and the Bengals if we don't have to. Both of those teams are going to have to expose the their playbooks on early on.......we'll be studying it for sure. But with our schedule.......there's no reason to show them what we've got if we don't have to. Expect alot of poo poo from the talking heads......there's been so much talk about "Air Ben", the "new " offense and the playbook, yada yada. and they are going to be calling it all a bust. I don't expect to see Ben version 2.0 fully activated until at least the Seahawks game. Tomlin's no dummy..........let them think we've got just enough in the tank to beat the crummy teams and then it's all going to bust loose. They won't know what hit them.

But I'm just a dumb chick............what do I know?

Does anyone know what the best online radio broadcast is for the upcoming game? I don't have a strong enough connection over here in Kuwait to run Sopcast, so I'm going to have to resort to the radio...better than nothing I suppose. Thanks guys!

Now that we got THAT straightened out!

Seriously, pretty good post!

Actually, I would expect all the plays to be on the books, and ready to be called. Expect a couple different things, but I don't think it will get opened up until really needed. If we get into a dog fight this afternoon, it will come now.

Sweet, I wasn't sure if they did broadcasts for away games also. I figured I was going to have to listen to some Clown commentators, but this is good news indeed! Thanks!

I agree with the dumb chick (jk)...I don't think Tomlin will expose the futuristic playbook at all these first 4 games. Expect some run run pass...and some play action here and there. Also, a good amount of passes to the runningbacks out the backfield.

Steelers to start Davis at fullback vs. Browns

CLEVELAND - Carey Davis is slated to start at fullback but Dan Kreider also figures to play in short-yardage and goal-line situations.

Both players are on the Steelers' 47-man active roster for today's season opener at Cleveland.

Newly acquired Allen Rossum will return kickoffs and punts for the Steelers as second-year man Willie Reid is inactive.

Also inactive for the Steelers are cornerback Ricardo Colclough, running back Gary Russell, linebacker Marquis Cooper, center/guard Darnell Stapleton, offensive tackle Trai Essex, linebacker Arnold Harrison and quarterback Brian St. Pierre.
