This game doesn't really worry me too much . This will be another field day for the defense, lossman is no better than charlie frye and u saw the problems he had with the d. As far as lynch is concerned he will get a proper welcome to the NFL this week trying to run into our front seven. I'm a steeler fan living in denver now and let me tell u that the broncos front seven isn't half as good as the steelers . When it comes to the offense the only real concern I have is willie parker being able to run against a pretty good buffalo d. He need to run well so we can keep em guessing.
final score steelers27-bills10 |

The only thing that half concerns me about this game is the Everett thing. if the Bills are really charged up playing for him etc.. It could keep them close with us early.
Long as we don't get behind much early.. We'll finish with a 14 point victory. |

Does anyone know how many consecutive games it's been that we have not allowed a 100 yard rusher, and what the NFL record is?

The Steelers currently have a streak of 22 straight regular season games of not allowing a 100 yard rusher. 26 if you count playoffs. I believe the last person to do it was James, in the 1st colts game of 05. Only 13 backs have done it against the Steelers since 2000. I'll research the all time record and try to post it. |

They lined up Anthony Smith as a nickle back during the game while Clark and Polamalu were in the saftey positions.
So we had our 3 best safeties on the field at the same time. I think what happened was McFadden who would have been the nickle back, had to go cover for Deshea who had a slight injury, so McFadden went to corner, and Anthony Smith went and played the nickle back. |

I think this game will be closer than most think. Killing the Browns is often not the best gauge of talent for a team because there is the opinion of "Are the Browns just that bad? Or are the Steelers that good?"
I think its a combination of both. The Bills will come out charged up and play the Steelers tough, but The Black and Gold will secure the win in the fourth quarter in non dramatic fashion. Good guys win it 24-16 |
