Steelers release one LB, sign another

The Steelers today waived linebacker Marquis Cooper and acquired former Steelers linebacker Andre Frazier off waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cooper had an injured hamstring from the final preseason game and was inactive for the first two regular-season games.

Frazier made the team as an undrafted rookie in 2005 and played mostly on special teams. His leg was broken in the AFC championship game in Denver and he was released after the 2006 training camp.

He played last season for the Bengals, who waived him on Tuesday.

He was a complete special teams demon our SB year... Hopefully that season with the Bungles didn't make him forget how to tackle...
