I just heard on the NFL Network that Grossman is going to be benched in favor of Brian Griese.. WOW!!!!

Well, when your second in the league in INT's, I guess that's what happens. Personally, I've always thought the guy was overrated to begin with. His defense won him games last season, but at this point they can't even help him.

Anyways, I wish the Bears all the best and hope they can turn it around.

I bet Smith is thinking the same thing. You can't keep losing games like that. Better to pull the trigger now and attempt to stop the bleeding instead of waiting until week 5 or 6.

That's good, but I don't think Griese is the future for the bears, he's already kinda old, maybe he's their only option(Kyle Orton anyone ) but they won't go far with him.

I usually feel bad for young QBs getting benched, but not grossman, he's just plain awful

Maybe Griese isn't going to be the league MVP this year, but what is unescapable is that he will bring stability on one side of the ball.

Chicago ST and D are both very good units, but they are being left with too much to do with Grossmans continual game losing performances.

Griese may be a 'game manager' but I think he gives the guys on his team a chance to make plays and beat up on the rest of the NFC.

I heard the Bears want to make a run at Donavan McNabb does anyone think they could actually get him? I do understand that McNabb is from Chicago but I don't see the Eagles letting him get away.

Well, I think we'd need some figures to work with before deciding whether this a realistic option.

The Bears would have to give up some pretty large draft picks to secure his services - and that really isn't the Chicago way.
