Vicente Fox Quesada was born in Mexico City on July 2, 1942, the second of nine children. His father was Jos? Luis Fox Pont, an American citizen[3] and his mother was Mercedes Quesada Etxaide, a Spanish immigrant from Donostia-San Sebasti?n. His paternal grandfather, Jos? Luis Fox Flach, was born Joseph Louis Fuchs in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, son of German Catholic immigrants Louis Fuchs and Catherina Elisabetha Flach.
Apparently, Joseph thought all of America was like Cincinnatti, so he moved his family to Mexico to start a better life.
