Even that doesn't bother me. Despite what he claims, everyone knew what he was doing and why. He put in his time and I didn't think it was a big deal for him to do it. Someone else? I probably wouldn't feel the same. Now that said, I hope it doesn't start a freaking trend.

Mike Strahan is a beast.

Harrison is dirty, he'll cheap shot you any chance he gets. You guys remember Deuce's hammy injury in the 2004 season? Harrison tackled him and after they went to the ground, Harrison punched Staley's hammy. It was shown on replay and it clearly showed Harrison going after Deuce's hammy after the tackle.

Hines Ward is dirty in the sense that he loves to hit. If he wanted to, he could be a dominant enforcer at saftey. He's always looking to block someone downfield, he plays with a defensive mindset. Sometimes he'll get overzelous and will hit someone after the whistle, like in the Cleveland game when he obliterated that Clowns DB. But for the most part he plays to the whistle and will knock your block off.

Remember the 2005 game against the Pats when Randle El lateraled the ball the Ward and it ended up being a fumble recovered by the Pats? Hines didn't catch the lateral because he wasn't looking for the ball, he was looking to de-cleat a Patriot defensive player.

I'd use the words crafty, sneaky, or sly instead of "dirty". I'm just glad they're Steelers!

Dirty = Taking out a QB's knee with a blatant elbow.

Playing a tough and physical game = Hines Ward.

If Strahan thinks Ward is a dirty player, I'd love to hear his opinion on some of the players who were around in the 60's and 70's.

Strahan should stick to being the picture perfect team player....

Let me think about it - having a tough as nails receiver to block regardless of where the play is going and going at 100% every play or a player who delayed his answer to retirement so he could avoid training camp and also the same player that was HANDED the sack title by Favre!!!

I'll take the tough as nails receiver - at least he earns his!!!
