Good Game Steelers!!!

I new as soon as I got to the boards that I would see tones of negative post. (I was hoping I wouldn't but I did) The reason I make that statement is I believe the Steelers played one of their best games yet.

They went into Denver and played a team that we all know was better than their record. A team that felt this was a make or break for their season and also their pride was at stake. The Steelers came out flat with hardly any emotion and were down most of the game by two touchdowns. Not only that but Ben played one of his worst games of the season. The defense was also kinda non-inspiring.

So you may say why would I make the statement of "Good Game Steelers" the reason is after all the things stated above they still stopped them when they needed to and drove down the field and scored to tie the game. Oh and by the way Ben was 8 for 8 on the last drive with the TD to Miller. He was also 6 for 6 in the redzone with 4 TD's. The defense played good on the last drive until that last throw (which i thought was a fumble). One pass deflection and it was overtime.

We still need to shore up the pass defense or just blitz all out Cutler had to much time. But all-in-all I think the team showed that they are starting to gel even more. The offensive line played better in the second half. and for Ben to play that good after 3 turnovers in the first half I thought it was impressive.

Again I state.........Good Game Steelers!!!

Oh yeah one more thing, Thank you Buffalo Bills. Ravens 4-3 Steelers 4-2

I wouldn't necessarily say this was a good game - clearly it was not. Everyone played like crap in the first half, and the D played like crap in the second half. But I was still impressed with the way the team continued to fight and didn't give up, and still gave themselves a chance to win the game at the end if only the D would have stepped up.

Impressed with the "never say die" attitude...disappointed in the overall effort.

Oh well, bring on the Bungles and hopefully the Steelers can drive the final nail in the coffin of their season...again!

At least we played a team with some degree of talent.

No - we didnt play a good game and it pains me to say that considering how well the team played before the bye. Sh it happens. Time to gear up for the Bungles and put this one behind us.

LOL, I'm sorry, this was not a good game. But if we want to wear the B&G sunglasses, go for it. I'm not even going to bother.

On that note, time to move on and bring on the Bengals.

uhh.. first **** u rayfag.

second.. sorry, but this loss was just bad. we werent supposed to lose to the broncos without their all pro corner, best wr, and long time center. it was a piss poor performance. i took the loss in arizona as an obvious trap game and one where i knew we had a chance of going down.

you can look at it positive in that ben played well late... but that gets negated by the play of our defense which was supposed to be the best in the league. i dont know what to think.

i was afraid we would run in to a buzzsaw tonight. the secondary gave me scray flashbacks of problems we have had in the past but i really liked, overall, the resilience this team showed. we are not on the level of the patriots yet obviously, but there is plenty of time to do so. seen some great things with ben tonight that gives me this hope. i am satisfied about as much as you could expect after a loss.
