Default Ducks v. Devils -

The Oregon v. Arizona State game in Eugene is going to be a dandy. The winner will have the inside track for the Pac 10 championship. If AZ State wins, they'll move closer to making a big play for the national title game, but they still probably need some help along the way.

I have the winner of that game jumping LSU if they struggle with Alabama. And LSU could lose that game.

The competition is tough. Really tough Pac-10 teams and exciting games too.

The Ducks could have lost to USC. And the Ducks should have beat Cal. So I'm not going to think that ASU has no chance. The Devils score points - lots and lots.

But a shootout still should favor Dennis Dixon and Jonathan Stewart especially in Eugene.

I'm happy it's only days away. It should live up to it.

If an undefeated Arizona State team is kept out of the national championship game by a one loss SEC team, don't be surprised to see the Pac 10 talk openly about leaving the BCS. There are already grumblings that the Pac 10 is unhappy with more than a few things going on in the NCAA right now.

I'm not entirely sure there will be any SEC teams with only one loss. LSU is the only one loss team left, and Alabama will play them tough. They'll still have the SEC CG to get through as well.

I don't see BC or OSU losing again, and if that stands, like it or not, they'll play in the BCS CG.

I think things could get interesting in the BCS if you have 4 teams undefeated. How can you say BC, Arizona St, or Kansas is any better than the other, but one will play OSU and the other two will be left out. However, these things usually work themselves out and 2 or more will lose.

Kansas could lose to Nebraska, and will almost certainly lose to Missouri. But you're right. These things will work themselves out.
