Cowher is going to demand (and get) $10 million per season when he goes back to coaching. Mike Brown won't meet that price.

lmao.........looks like it ain't gonna be to difficult to get tickets for the next steeler bunghole game...

here's my favorites...

"That's why they're 5-2 and we're 2-5. Good teams put it in the end zone. Teams like us kick field goals.''
Quote:
The Bengals were soundly beaten in every facet of the game before and after the field goal. So unless the 4th down "go for it" play had resulted in our running back getting tackled into the Steelers sideline with such force that the impact broke Ben's arm, Holmes' leg, Ward's foot, and Parker's will, that play and the ensuing hubbub is just a tempest in a teacup.
Quote:
Bottom line is that everyone - fans and players are pretty damn low right now (and that will probably effect play as well).
Quote:
Mike Martz. He would love the job and at least they would be entertaining. Buddy Ryan must have another kid that can run the defense right????
Quote:
And believe or not, that play did have a huge impact on the game. Even if we would have failed on 4th and 1, Pittsburgh would not have scored a TD before the half and it's only 14-6 at halftime.
Quote:
This game seems to have been the last straw for even the most staunch Bengal supporters. Our Fed-Ex guy has field level seats and is giving them up for face value.
Quote:
i said at the end of last season that if marvin does not make some changes this team is in trouble now look at them. a f**king joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quote:
I think you nailed her. If Marvin isn't more careful, this board might spend more time chasing soft porn than his team.
i think its safe to say we won't be smellin anymore bungle fans around here this year......THERE AREN'T ANY LEFT !!!!!!!!!...

I see we have some math majors over there. If they failed on the 4th and 1, it's still only 14-3, and I still think we would have scored a TD on the ensuing possession anyway, as Willie picked up 32 yards on one play during that drive. We had PLENTY of time to score.

Yep - you nailed it puddin'head. The fans being so "low" is really going to affect the play on the field.

The only Bungle fan I feel any empathy for is CS85. I think he's the only Bungle fan who didn't have to travel to Oz to get a brain.

Yep.

I completely agree.

Just an FYI, I have offered a way of football salvation to CS85... You mods might get a request for a name change if he comes to the light!
