Yes!! The "spittle" was flowing freely from Cowher's mouth after that call.

It's one of them rules that you hate, but has to be there. Okay enough PC

I hate the rule!!!!!!!!! I agree if you call a fair catch you should have all the opprotunity to catch the ball, key work being CATCH!!!!!!! If you drop it or muff it, it should be fair game to everybody..

I dunno what exactly the rules are on fair catch, but he did bobble it, the instant replay showed him upswing for the ball a second time, but it was 2 feet from his hand, so Chidi went for it. It wasn't Chidi's fault, and i dont think it should have been a 15 yard penalty.

From the angle that the replay was shown, it didn't look like the ball was within reach for Sproles after he bobbled. I agree that the rule needs to be reviewed.

After he waves for a fair catch it is not considered a muff/fumble until it hits the ground... this protects the returner from getting clobbered or interfered with if he slightly bobbles it.

Instead of making it a gray area, or a judgement call they just say you can't touch the ball or the returner until the ball hits the ground. I understand why the rule is there, but on this play it seemed a bit unreasonable.

I agree its the rule and has to be enforced, but it sure is a crock if u ask me. after it bounced off his head/face mask he wasnt gonna get it back...

If this had cost us the game, it would have been our version of the tuck rule

I would have been pissed if it happened to the Bengals... I almost thought the refs were totally cheating you and I was pumped, but it all made sense when they explained the rule...

No harm done.. It made the league aware in case noone knew and you still got the win

at least i'm not alone on the thoughts of the officiating last night.. Man i thought i was gonna blow a fuse or have a heart attack.. That head ref was so irritating to look at too i just wanted to reach through the tv and wring his flabby neck.. I thought for sure we were gettin shafted but like one guy said.. they'd through in a few against the Chargers to through us back off.. Another crap call was personal fall on troy p... the other players were nudgin him and eggin him on he was just defending himself and yet he gets the flag.. complete bs.. I hope i never see that crew ever again!!!!
